Coronavirus Relief for Families

As COVID-19 slows our society and economy down to a crawl, we realize nothing changes for those stuck in toxic relationships and difficult co-parenting situations. In fact, they're likely to get worse the longer stay-at-home orders remain in place.

With that said, the concern for visitation rights, children's safety, domestic violence, and other situations rise tremendously. While the courts are limited and only holding emergency hearings, there are other things we can do to help people and their predicaments during this uncertain time.

Because our mission is to approach all cases with great compassion and integrity, we want to help families as much as we can. So, we're doing a couple of things to help those that need some relief.

1. 50% Retainer - Given that many are being crunched financially right now, but still need to obtain legal representation, we'll take half off the required upfront retainer if an attorney feels it's necessary. Our typical retainer is around $3k, which is already more manageable than most traditional firms. This additional aid will help potential clients retain and get the process started without delay.

2. Facebook Live Q&A - We've begun to organize a professional panel to answer general questions those are having during this unique and unpredictable time. Legal advice will not be provided, but we'll talk about practical situations and outcomes based on viewers' questions. We will look to do a general topic once a week. New panel members and subject matters will be announced as we go.

We encourage our clients and staff to follow state and federal instruction during this time. Everyone should stay safe and feel comfortable. We can meet potential clients and clients directly via video conferencing on mobile devices or computers. We have technology on our side to continue serving the families that depend on us.
