The MM Music Player

The MM Music Player

Barcelona - 3rd May 2007. May 2007 sees the launch of a brand new web site for online arts publication ´Medium Magazine´. The site is still at www.mediummagazine.net and viewers will notice a fresh, upbeat development from the previous dark and mysterious site.

Entering it´s third year of existence, the magazine now includes a dedicated music section. Viewers can listen to tracks from both established and upcoming artitsts on the ´MM Music Player´ by switching it on and tuning the dial. New music will be added every month. Musicians currently featured in the MM Music Player include: Frank Bakken (Germany), Bob Constant & The Goodbye Horses (UK) and Flow (USA).

The rest of the web site showcases new work from graduate and student photographers, film makers, painters and writers.

Another change for year three is the submissions process. Entries are now free, and contributors from anywhere in the world can simply email their creative work for consideration in an upcoming issue.

Futher ´MM´ printed publications and live events are planned for the near future.

Medium Magazine (´The print/web/live platform for the work of creative people worldwide´) is an online arts publication with accompanying live events and occasional printed publications. Primarily for the work of recent graduates working in creative areas, we also feature work from students and established professionals alongside this.

The project was inspired by the experience of leaving university and thinking, "What next?" Creative people will always need to get their work ´out there´, and Medium Magazine presents a chance for any creative person in the world to do this. We belive in equal opportunities and are not elitist. As long as the work is good, it goes on the site!

At Medium Magazine we work as volunteers, creating opportunities for talented people of all ages around the world to have their work seen in public and by industry leaders. The aim is to help bridge the gap between leaving education and beginning a creative career, and to aid career development. At the same time, it provides interesting free entertainment for anyone interested in the arts.
