ACE launches new JointHealth(TM) Education Program "Arthritis At Home"

(Vancouver, BC) - Arthritis Consumer Experts ("ACE") is launching a new JointHealth(TM) Education program called "Arthritis At Home."

ACE has been on the frontline of credible, research-based education and information development and delivery for 20 years. "Arthritis At Home" builds on that experience and will provide arthritis patient community insights in health motivation, wellness and disease facts by bringing arthritis experts into patients' homes through ACE's social media channels. The new program's invited guests will feature leaders in clinical rheumatology, arthritis scientists, physio and occupational therapists, psychologists and health economists. The program will also feature interviews with leading arthritis consumer-patient leaders and advocates who either work or volunteer in our community.

ACE is launching "Arthritis At Home" during a pandemic crisis, when most of ACE's members and subscribers and social media fans and followers are confined to home, facing even more challenges in their daily lives than they normally would. Patients living with arthritis have many concerns and questions and are desperately trying to get the latest, credible information on the coronavirus and what it means for them from their peers online and from web searches. At the same time, healthcare professionals are increasingly looking to telehealth as a valuable tool to communicate and consult with their patients at home. Follow the hashtag #ArthritisAtHome.

"ACE believes COVID-19 will have a lasting effect on how patients living with arthritis will educate themselves and how healthcare will be delivered to them at home in the future. Written words can never be replaced to share arthritis facts and news but being able to see and hear directly at home from experts is more important than ever. "Arthritis At Home" addresses this new need by delivering ACE's arthritis experts "face-to-face" to patients' homes through our Facebook and YouTube channels," said ACE Founder and President, Cheryl Koehn.

"Arthritis At Home" will come to patient-consumers' homes beginning Monday March 30th three times a week, on #MotivationMonday, #WellnessWednesday and #FactsFriday.
