Objective

The greatest risk is from an unsuspected patient in an unprepared hospital. Regular hospitals have insufficient facilities to provide airborne infection isolation for large numbers of patients with airborne infectious diseases presenting in a short time period.

Hospital preparedness for bioterrorism and other public health emergencies such as emerging airborne infectious diseases like COVID-19 requires strategic planning to ensure that all components of respiratory protection programs, including environmental controls, are in place for airborne infection isolation rooms/areas (AIIRs).

Without adequate environmental controls, patients with airborne infectious diseases will pose a risk to other patients and health care workers.

The SDI GLOBAL LLC mobile hospital is Intensive care based hospital that accommodates large number on ICU and HDU rooms, each ICU unit bed have all type of required equipment to defeat COVID-19 disease (Ventilators, Medical Gas Station, Negative-Pressure Exhaust System, Vital Signs Monitor, etc.) and some Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) Machine for each unit.

This SDI GLOBAL LLC field hospital will assist infection control professionals, to prepare for a natural or terroristic event, involving an infectious agent transmitted by airborne droplet nuclei. Examples of such agents include Coronavirus, measles, varicella, and tuberculosis.

Purpose & goal of this Hospital

A timely response is crucial for identification and containment of potentially infectious patients.
The goal is for facilities to develop a 12-hour response to implement containment measures.

The negative pressure isolation is the safest method to create Airborne Infection Isolation Rooms AIIRs to meet increased surge capacity for patient isolation.

This hospital will focus on the environmental controls necessary for airborne infection isolation.
The ventilation parameters essential for airborne infection isolation rooms/areas include:
? Pressure management for appropriate airflow direction;
? Room air changes for dilution ventilation; and
? Filtration to remove infectious particles.

Negative Pressure

The Airborne Infection Isolation Room AIIR should be negatively pressurized. This helps to prevent infectious particles from escaping the room envelope.

The movement of air is used to help provide containment of infectious particles by providing clean to dirty airflow.

The SDI GLOBAL LLC COVID-19 READY Rapid Deployable Hospital is ready for a major infectious disease outbreak to treat masses of patients with COVID-19 simultaneously, the field hospital can be ready to erect a temporary, fully functioning container hospital within approx. 72 hours whenever and wherever it's needed.

The COVID-19 READY Rapid Deployable Hospital can be moved by truck, airplane, or boat in 20 and 40 foot-long vehicles.
