This consultancy required the use of ADT's preliminary turbomachinery design tool, TURBOdesign Pre, as well as its unique blade design software, TURBOdesign1. TURBOdesign Pre is a 1D sizing code for the preliminary design and analysis of various turbomachinery components. TURBOdesign 1 uses the 3D Inverse Design approach to compute the blade shape for a given blade loading distribution.
