October 17, 2011 – Lombard, IL – Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) was awarded the Silver Logistics Supplier Award by Cabot Microelectronics Corporation for outstanding service. Cabot Microelectronics annual awards ceremony recognises suppliers that provide the best strategic value to its global operations.

On a semi-annual basis, Cabot Microelectronics meets with all key logistics suppliers and reviews their performance against several key performance elements using a scorecard rating system. Logistics suppliers are rated in such areas as quality of service, cost containment, on-time service and vessel availability. MOL was recognised as the first logistics supplier to receive a supplier award from Cabot Microelectronics.
