Press release from: CENTRL, Inc.

MOUNTAIN VIEW -- March 10, 2020 -- CENTRL Inc, a leading platform for Privacy Management and Third-Party Risk, today announced the issuance of two U.S. Patents number 10,013,665 and 10,447,719 "Business-to-business (B2B) monitoring and information exchange network system" and "Security breach reporting and incident management system" respectively.

- U.S. patent (10,447,719) details

Issued on Oct 15th 2019, the U.S. patent (10,447,719) claims the invention of a breach reporting and incident management directory-based system. One of the features of the BRIM system is the notifications subscribers receive regarding breaches or incidents on the products/services that they use. These notifications alert subscribers to the incident on the service, and its track record. This email and notification module also provide the ability for the two sides to collaborate around any of the events that take place.

- U.S. patent (10,013,665) details

Issued on March 7th 2018, the U.S. patent (10,013,665) claims the creation of a monitoring and information exchange network system (MIEN) comprising:

- at least one searchable database system,
- at least one processor coupled to the at least one searchable database system, and
- at least one processor executing instructions for a MIEN system method

Businesses have multiple relationships with other businesses like Vendor-Client, Distributor-Franchisee, etc. In each of these relationships, one party delivers a certain service or product to the other party. Most of these relationships are governed by legal contracts and are subject to specific performance requirements. These requirements require a lot of information to be exchanged between the two parties. With the rising threat of cyber-attacks, often the most vulnerable point is external business partners. Additionally, there are regulatory and reputational reasons for such monitoring. The MIEN system helps create the platform to solve this problem for information exchange in the most secured way.

"We are very pleased to have been awarded these patents for B2B networking," said CENTRL CEO Sanjeev Dheer. Dheer also mentions the critical role played by the Architect, Nitesh Gupta, in creation of these systems. He noted, "Nitesh's work on the architecture to create the highly scalable, secured and reliable solution have ensured the success of CENTRL in the Privacy data management space." Nitesh graduated from IIT Kanpur and has vast experience in creating such networks. He also worked with Mr. Dheer at CashEdge to architect P2P product PopMoney, which was widely accepted by various financial institutions.
