truMe Raises $ 145 K from an Investor in US

truMe, an Identity & Access Management ecosystem play has raised $ 150 K from an angel investor in US.
With this fundraise, truMe plans to deepen its footprint in Delhi-NCR and expand operations to Mumbai and Bangalore. Apart from the expansion plans, it will use the proceeds to invest in talent and technology.
truMe is the flagship product of Mobico Comodo Private Limited, an IT product start-up. The company, which owns the truMe patent, is helmed by three entrepreneur friends - Lalit Mehta, Pramod Uniyal and Babu Dayal. These entrepreneurs aspire to redefine the way in which people access buildings, events and smart city services, by nurturing a new Access Management ecosystem based on digital identity.
Rajan Kaistha, the investor, and CEO of RST solutions Inc, said that he is excited about the people and the technology behind truMe and believes that there is a latent need for an Access Management ecosystem that truMe can fulfil.
A report by Grand View Research shows that the Identity & Access Management industry is growing at CAGR of 13.1% and is expected to reach $ 24 billion per annum by year 2025. Identity & Access Management is in dire need of new technology and fresh thinking. The space is dominated by legacy technologies, which are costly, cumbersome and inefficient. truMe comes with a vision to leverage a 'truMe Digital Identity' to create Network Effect. It's working on a number of products in the identity space, including Access Management.
