Story Republic kickstarts 2020 with a spectacular Shobhayatra.

Story Republic, the winner of the coveted GOLD at WOW Awards Asia last year, brings alive the grand annual celebration for Shree Cement Ltd., this year again in Beawar, Rajasthan. Hosted across 70 acres of the plant, this one of its kind mega show is the most awaited celebration of art, culture and festivities for over 2000+ employees, their families, dignitaries and 20,000+ locals across Rajasthan, for the past 16 years.

To recreate the success of Shobhayatra in 2020, STORY REPUBLIC was appointed once again to conceptualise, design & direct the fabrication of 9 unique Floats based on the theme of ISHWAR�SWAROOP (Avatars of the Lord). True to the name, the agency brought alive the stories of Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, Rama, Krishna, Durga, Lakshmi, Ganesh & Hanuman through a visual spectacle at a magnificent scale.

A dedicated team of Designers and Engineers brainstormed, conceptualised, experimented and prototyped till they nailed the 9 Masterpieces on wheels to perfection. A team of fabricators braced extreme temperatures, day and night at the site to handcraft the minutest details.

The 4-days of elaborated fun and festivities kickstarted with a grand Rath Yatra at the iconic Hanuman Temple. Led by a mammoth 22ft tall Lord Hanuman idol on wheels, the procession followed with 9 unique themed tableau (jhanki) and live performances by 300 artists across floats.

Recognised for their disruptive ideas, designs and innovations, Team Story Republic transformed each tableau into a story through special effects, for the audience to truly experience. The unique blend of ART & TECHNOLOGY was an immense crowd puller to the never-seen-before show in the past 16 years of Shobhayatra. The Bangur family, owners of Shree Cement Ltd. were proud to have collaborated with Story Republic in making this event such a huge success, once again.

Shobhayatra also celebrates the spirit of employee engagement, healthy competition and a great show of teamwork through active participation and representation of the floats by 200+ members. The winning�team is awarded with incentives by the�organisation.�
