Pelletier Honored for Business Excellence and Community Service
Doug Pelletier, founder and CEO of Trifecta Technologies, is being honored with the Executive Spotlight Award by the Eastern Pennsylvania Business Journal (EPBJ). The awards ceremony is on October 5, 2011 at the EPBJ Expo in Allentown.
The Executive Spotlight Award recognizes individuals who personify the ideals of business excellence and community service. The award, which is in its twelfth year, is given annually to ten professionals in Eastern Pennsylvania who strive to make the region a better place to live and work.
Pelletier's strong leadership, entrepreneurial skills and community service qualified him for the prestigious award. Pelletier began his career at IBM, and later took his hard-won experience and followed his dream of owning his own business, and started Trifecta Technologies. The company has emerged as a premier solution provider and an expert in the area of e-commerce and web application development to a broad base of national customers.
"Being recognized for my work and community service is an honor," said Pelletier. "I am proud of what Trifecta has done– despite the industry ups and downs of the past two decades, our company continues to thrive, because of and our commitment to excellence and customer service."
In addition to his work at Trifecta Technologies, Pelletier is an active member of the community. Currently, he serves as the co-chair of Alexis de Tocqueville Society, a group of community and business leaders committed to supporting the United Way. He is a past member of the board of trustees of Sacred Heart Hospital having served there for close to 25 years; a past chairman of the board of the Sacred Heart Foundation; a past director of LARC, now called Via; and a past president of Kiwanis Club of West Allentown.
