Registration Open for Microchip’s 8th Annual India MASTERs Conferences; Premiere Technical Training Events for Embedded-Control Engineers
October 3, 2011: [NASDAQ: MCHP] Microchip Technology Inc., a leading provider of microcontroller and analog semiconductors, today announced it is accepting registrations for its 8th annual India MASTERs Conferences, which will be held on 10-11 and 14-15 of November in Bangalore and Pune, respectively. Online registration is now open at http://microchip.com/im.Watch a video about MASTERs at: http://www.microchip.com/get/8R68
The MASTERs Conferences are a valuable resource for designing with Microchip’s products that provide design engineers with an annual forum for sharing and exchanging technical information on the Company’s 8-, 16- and 32-bit PIC® microcontrollers, high-performance analog and interface solutions, 16-bit dsPIC® digital signal controllers, wireless products, mTouch™ sensing solutions and MPLAB® development systems— the industry’s only singular IDE to support an entire 8-, 16- and 32-bit microcontroller portfolio.
MASTERs is an in-depth, bi-directional exchange of technical information between Microchip subject-matter experts and the Company’s technical partners, including customers, third parties, distributor FAEs and design partners.
There is a broad range of class offerings for 2011, with an aim to meet the growing needs of software and hardware design engineers and engineering managers. Out of 27 classes being offered, 11 are “hands-on” classes and 4 are “Demo” classes, which enable attendees to learn more about specific applications by using development tools and demo boards, and writing code in the classrooms. Classes are available for engineers with advanced experience or little knowledge in the concepts and basics of the technology being discussed.
MASTERs classes cover the gamut of electronic-engineering topics, including connectivity sessions on TCP/IP, USB, CAN and wireless, graphical-display and touch-sensing interface development, intelligent power supplies, firmware development, motor control, using an RTOS and creating a bootloader.
“Microchip continues to expand the breadth and depth of technical courses offered through our training programs, which are specifically designed for embedded systems engineers,” said Ramesh Babu, Microchip’s sales manager in India. “The India
MASTERs Conferences provide a unique opportunity for embedded-control engineers to learn and practice some of the newest and latest technologies and applications. The conferences have become the country’s premiere technical training resources every year”.
The two-day conferences create networking sessions between third-party partners and attendees to discuss relevant design topics as well as meeting with third-party development tool experts. The “Ask the Experts” Program also allows attendees to ask Microchip engineers about design and development questions relating to any of Microchip’s products. Furthermore, a display featuring development tools from Microchip licensed tool manufacturers and products from Microchip design consultants will be available on the evening of Day 1.
Registration & Pricing Info
Entry to the MASTERs Conference courses, all class materials and 3 meals are included in the Conference cost of Rs 6,500. All attendees will also receive one free standard C Compiler. This year, the conferences also offer exclusive discounts, up to 40% off, to all attendees to purchase selected development tools through the authorized local reseller. Registration and complete information regarding the MASTERs Conferences can be found online at: http://microchip.com/im. Deadline for registration is October 27 for both locations.
