IntelliTrack Inc. Announces the Release of Fixed Assets Software, An Asset Management Software

Hunt Valley, MD – IntelliTrack Inc., a leading developer of bar code, RFID and wireless software, has announced the release of Fixed Assets Software as one of the newest upgrades to their line of software applications. Highlights include PC and handheld computer application, import/export capabilities and user-definable field.

Designed for asset managers, IntelliTrack’s Fixed Assets Software allows efficient monitoring of physical inventories within specific areas of businesses. It is compatible with a Windows CE/Mobile handheld computer where an integrated barcode reader can be used in scanning asset tags. After inventory scanning is performed, all reports can be accessed on the software for asset inventory evaluation.

IntelliTrack made the software compatible to run on Windows XP, Windows Vista 32/64 bit, Windows 7 32/64 bit, Server 2003 and Server 2008 32/64 bit systems. As mentioned, it can fully support Windows CE/Mobile handheld computers which made barcode scanning easy and portable.

In handling details about the inventory, IntelliTrack has allowed varied ways of how the details stored in the software can be managed. In general, the software can save pictures of fixed assets in the database, print bar codes and import or export either ASCII or text data to use with other software system.

Several key features of the software in monitoring fixed assets include portable date and time stamp to know when an asset was added, maintenance of assets’ history to know who has the control over an item or when and where it has been, depreciation support, pre-loaded reports, reconciliation to ensure data integrity, exception reporting, control of security level to protect data and network support.
In addition to the main key features, IntelliTrack also allowed unlimited number of items, sites and locations to be included and managed in the software.
