PRESS RELEASE ON BEHALF OF THE ‘SAVE OUR SUE’ CAMPAIGN

Sue Saul is the wife of Marcus Saul, the marketing consultant used by FrazerPart.

A campaign group has been set up in support of Susan Saul, a 39 year old mother of two young children, who has an aggressive form of bone cancer called Osteo-Sarcoma and has been given just six months to live. Friends and family have embarked on a massive effort in order to raise the funds to secure some groundbreaking treatment that is unavailable in the United Kingdom and may save or prolong her life.
There are a couple of options being considered by medical staff, including Gene Therapy, Chemo-Embolisation, and Light Abulation. One of these treatments is being pioneered by Dr Vogl in Germany and is employed in a series of nine stages each costing £5000. The campaign group are hoping to secure all of the money to pay for this series of treatments, which will begin as soon as the first tranche of money has been raised. In order to do this, the campaign group, led by Sue’s loving husband Marcus, have organised a series of fundraising events, including benefit nights, sponsored walks, and parachute jumps.
A Facebook page ‘Save Our Sue’ (www.facebook.com/SaveOurSue) has been set up to keep supporters up to date with events, and the online community are embracing the campaign to save the life of this wonderful young woman.
Sue’s children, eight year old Seren and three year old Estelle are hoping for a miracle. Susan herself, as is her nature, is tackling the situation with grace and fortitude. So brave was she, on receipt of her diagnosis, that the doctor who delivered the news thought she must be in shock. Instead, this amazing woman, an inspiration to everyone who knows her, is determined to hold on to the life she holds dear.
Now, a dedicated group of people whose lives she has touched and enriched (practically everyone who has ever met her!) are determined to do everything they can to aid her fight for life.
There will be a highly visible campaign, with supporters wearing badges with the legend ‘S.O.S’ and a series of media events and a fundraising drive in support of Save Our Sue.
