GamingAngels.com announces the exciting addition of Girl Gone Geek and GKick to the GamingAngels Presents Network
Simi Valley, Calif., September 12, 2011 - A popular geek girl blog and an MMO-focused podcast are joining Panels on Pages’ PrincessCast, Game Dames and The Married Gamers as members of the GamingAngels Presents Network. The Network, which features high quality sites and podcasts that add to the overall objectives of the GamingAngels site, is currently in its second year of operation.Girl Gone Geek Blog, located at www.girlgonegeekblog.com, was created and is run by Jamila Rowser. Jamila started her blog in May 2010 as a way to blend her love for writing and her geeky obsessions. These obsessions include anime, video games, comics, literature, sci-fi, fantasy and zombies. She enjoys and encourages a collaborative community with her readers and loves having good old-fashioned geekouts with them on her Twitter (@girl_gone_geek) and Facebook pages (www.facebook.com/girlgonegeekblog).
The GKick podcast — hosted by Shal, Hya, Tor and Ali — presents the latest news and discussion topics on World of Warcraft and Star Wars: The Old Republic. Originally, the show was a guild-only affair for members of Northrend Travel Agency on the Doomhammer-NA server in World of Warcraft. It has not only evolved into a much bigger show featuring entertaining music and ridiculously mature content, but it has also spawned the GKick Network, located at www.gkick.net, which features the latest news from the worlds of gaming, entertainment and sports and also a collection of podcasts, humor sites, blogs and more about all corners of the Internet. GKick will be celebrating its first anniversary this October.
