Oxford College Distance Learning – Now offering BTEC HND

Oxford College are pleased to announce that their customised BTEC HND courses are now available in a variety of subjects for learners to study from home by distance learning.

Gibraltar, 27th September 2011 - The Oxford College BTEC Higher National Diploma courses are Level 5 on the UK National Qualifications Framework and are fully accredited by Edexcel. Students have up to 2 years to complete their studies and upon successful completion will be awarded certification from Edexcel and will be awarded 240 UCAS credit points.

These BTEC HND distance learning courses are divided into 16 units of study and at the end of each unit there is a piece of coursework that will need to be completed. These coursework assignments are graded and will form the final grade. The unlimited tutor support is available for the 2 year duration of the course. Students will be assigned a qualified tutor who will be able to answer questions and give guidance and feedback as well as mark coursework.

BTEC HND courses can be topped up with a third year at university to gain a full honours degree. There is a list of universities which accept the BTEC HND on the bottom of each course synopsis page.
