Recently, the agency announced that there will be an increase in the cost of gorilla tracking permit from USD 600 to USD 700 starting July 2020. This came after Rwanda had doubled their gorilla tracking permit from USD 750 to USD 1,500 per permit.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in the heart of the rainforest in the southwest corner of Uganda. It is a home to seven different species of primates including the elusive, majestic Mountain Gorilla. When you visit the Gorillas, you will have the privileged opportunity to track and witness these beautiful, endangered creatures in their natural habitat. Tracking the Gorillas varies from 2 hours to 9 hours.
Depending on the weather, the terrain can be steep and covered in the vegetation and therefore it means participants needs to be physically fit to have the best, you will need to carry a packed lunch, drinking water, wear comfortable boots and take a rain jacket. Walking sticks will be made available for those that require one by the park rangers.
