Stony Brook, New York, USA – inGenious Targeting Laboratory, Inc (iTL), and Umeå University (Umeå, Sweden) have partnered in a two year Master Institutional Service Agreement, further strengthening their ongoing relationship. Investigators from Umeå University have been utilizing iTL’s services since 2006. This agreement combines the research expertise of Umeå University with the over 12 years of experience that iTL has generating custom mouse models.

“Providing one of Europe’s premier universities with a one stop shop for these models will foster the efficient advancement of important research, while maintaining the highest quality iTL can offer” states iTL President and COO Paul Sheifelle.

Solidifying agreements such as these is an exciting step forward for iTL as they help propel them forward as a global leader in the transgenic mouse community. “Agreements like this help showcase our technical abilities as well as aid the research community at large” remarks Paul Sheifelle.

“This agreement will provide our scientists with ready access to iTL’s customized services, at Umeå University we are committed to high quality research utilizing the latest technologies.” states Leif Carlsson, Professor and Head of Animal Unit at Umeå University.
