GEA Diessel at Interphex 2011

GEA Diessel further strengthened its market position in the Japanese pharmaceutical market with its attendance at Interphex in Tokyo this July. The show, claimed to be Asia’s biggest pharmaceutical exhibition, allowed GEA Diessel the opportunity of renewing existing relationships while taking new enquiries for its advanced fermentation technology. The GEA staff on the stand reported Interphex 2011 to be equal to previous years with over 1500 companies exhibiting and approaching 65,000 visitors over three days.

GEA Diessel occupied a stand shared with its fellow members of GEA Pharma Systems and Eurotechno Ltd. its long-standing Japanese agent. The company had the latest design of its trusted pharmaceutical fermentation technology on show – GD-Ferm – with a capacity of 150 litres and designed for the manufacture of insulin and vaccines. Dirk Hetzel, Sales Director for GEA Diessel, said that the show had been a great success. “We had some good enquiries from both existing and new pharmaceutical and engineering clients and were able to build on our existing strong reputation within the Japanese pharmaceutical industry,” he said.

The GEA message to visitors was one of high containment, continuous processing and advanced research and development throughout the pharmaceutical industry. Products on show included technology for blending, drying, heating, cooling, granulation, coating, tabletting and formulation as well as the fermentation equipment from GEA Diessel. GEA Pharma Systems brands exhibiting with GEA Diessel were: Aeromatic-Fielder™, Buck®, Collette™, Courtoy™ and Lyophil™.

GEA Diessel will also be exhibiting at TechnoPharm 11 - 13 October, at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg; and P-MEC India 30 November – 2 December at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. The company has also booked its place at Interphex Japan next year.

GEA Pharma Systems unites the technologies of Aeromatic-Fielder™, Buck™, Collette™, Courtoy™, Diessel™, and Lyophil™ to provide advanced one-stop solutions for solid and liquid dosage processing to the global pharmaceutical industry.
