Seclore releases the world's first completely browser based IRM system

FileSecure WebConnect enables browser based access to protected content. Without the need for download & install of desktop IRM agent, this release drives adoption of IRM for collaborating with external entities & mobile devices access.

Mumbai, India 20th Sept 2011 : Seclore, today announced the release of the world's first completely browser based IRM system. Seclore FileSecure, "The most integration friendly IRM system in the world" will now come with Seclore FileSecure WebConnect for secure IRM protected content access within the browser.

Exchange of confidential information with external entities like customers, vendors, lawyers and auditors should be protected by IRM policies. The need for a software agent on the recipient's computers, however, makes the process long and circuitous sometimes involving IT teams of the two companies.

With Seclore FileSecure WebConnect, external users can authenticate and access protected content without going through any process of downloading & installing. The only pre-requisite is a modern browser. The system has been tested to work on Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera but should work with any browser.
