LabGrab.com today announces the roll-out of several new features on the science research and industry news site. LabGrab.com, now in its fourth year of operation, has increased site functionality and personalization with the addition of a new 'Grab More Science' web application, an expanding list of industry partners, and improved ability to add science and industry content to the site.The Grab More Science web application (www.labgrab.com/boxGraph/boxGraph.html) aggregates science and industry news articles using data visualization techniques that allow readers to navigate, sort and filter articles based on the rankings of LabGrab.com users. More popular articles are given a larger visual presence within a treemap based on that rank. Users are now able to personalize their own treemap according to 15 categories and their sub-categories. Not interested in organic chemistry? No problem. One click of the mouse deselects the category so the treemap won't display articles on this topic again.
The site is a place for the scientific community to share new ideas, current science research and industry news. Site content is created by an expanding group of scientific researchers and writers like new contributing writer Andrew Hau, Ph.D Candidate in Pharmacology, Oregon State University. Andrew began writing articles for Andrew Hau's Blog (www.labgrab.com/blog/1618) back in July, and has already contributed more than a dozen articles ranging in topics from biology to nanotechnology.
LabGrab has also improved other site features, including adding more news categories and steadily increasing personalization options. Companies are encouraged to register and post contact information, a brief business description and site links to help drive more traffic to partner sites. Companies can also post lab research and industry press releases to easily reach out to the LabGrab.com community.
LabGrab.com's network of science and industry members are also part of the SproutNOVA network (www.sproutnova.com), an all-science advertising network that brings scientific equipment suppliers and scientists together.
