The WEKA-Verlagsgruppe based in Kissing uses the attendant console software “AND Desktop AC” of ANDTEK GmbH. Especially the manager/assistant services are used daily and intensively. “Our assistants e.g. have an immediate overview about the status of all lines”, says Christian Fendt, network administrator of the WEKA Service GmbH, managing the software with WEKA. “This way we can process calls faster and more efficiently”, explains Fendt. With WEKA the telephony services are controlled via the PC in combination with IP telephones using the workplace software “AND Desktop CTI”. “It is extremely easy to answer/forward incoming calls in an user-optimized way with just one mouse click”, says Christian Fendt. Complicated key handling at the telephone console is not needed anymore using computer telephony.
The attendant is instantly displaying all contacts found in the corporate directory and can directly forward the caller. An unlimited number of queues are available per attendant to be able to manage even complex environments.
By means of the queues it is not only possible to forward callers directly to the attendant phone but attendants have the possibility to place callers on hold or park them in queues. An automatic fallback is important when calls are transferred to busy phones because this ensures that these calls will not be lost but are automatically reconnected to the attendant.
The attendant at WEKA has the possibility to display call history information with filters to see answered or missed calls.
