eduFYI announces the launch of its second eduFYI CAT60, the online CAT 2011 preparation test series

eduFYI has launched the second series of eduFYI CAT60 a unique preparation kit for aspirants of IIM’s. This online CAT preparation tests is free and first launched in 2010 with an aim to assist MBA aspirations in their quest for good scores. One does not need an introduction to the most sort after, “Common Admission Test” (CAT), which one needs to clear, for a coveted seat in any of the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other top B-schools in India. The number of test days has been retained at 20 days within the window from 22 October to 18 November 2011 this year.
CAT is one of the most awaited and sort after examinations, that many students who wish to seek their management career with the IIM’s start planning for from a long time. The CAT 2011 will have only two sections instead of three. The first section will focus on Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation; the second on Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning. These two sections will be implemented sequentially with separate time limits. The examination will be 140 minutes. Candidates will have 70 minutes to answer 30 questions within each section which will have an on-screen countdown timer. Although new in the computer-based version of CAT, this format was previously practiced in some of the earlier paper-and-pencil years.
Given the technical glitches during the last year’s examination, most students are apprehensive as to what really lies ahead in store for this year.
