Compumatica secure networks takes over the technology of .vantronix | secure systems GmbH

The technology of .vantronix products round about cloud security, routing, firewalling and IPv6 will be integrated into the product portfolio of Compumatica secure networks.

Compumatica secure networks – provider of high-level security solutions for the protection of highly sensitive data – takes over the technology as well as the existing customer base of .vantronix | secure systems GmbH, vendor of high-end security appliances. The takeover includes the integration of an excellent, secure technology for routing and firewalling, based on a solid and proven platform powered by the secure operating system OpenBSD. In the future, this technology will ideally complement the existing product range of Compumatica. All .vantronix customers and maintenance contracts are taken over as well and will enable Compumatica to globally expand their business significantly.

Special emphasis is placed on the migration of .vantronix gateways into the Compumatica organization: Besides IPv4 the next generation Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) is as well fully supported by these gateways.

.vantronix is an HP AllianceONE Select Partner and its security appliances are based on different HP network hardware products. Compumatica will continue this collaboration with HP in the future. Worldwide customers and resellers will be provided directly and together with HP. The development team of .vantronix is integrated into the Compumatica organization in Aachen and will be further strengthened to ensure the high quality standards of products and staff.
