Announcing the Agenda for IntertechPira’s Phosphor Global Summit 2012
10th Annual Conference will take place March 20-22, 2012, in Scottsdale, Ariz.

PORTLAND, Maine — Sept. 14, 2011 — IntertechPira is pleased to announce the agenda for Phosphor Global Summit 2012, taking place March 20-22, 2012, at the Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale, Ariz. More than 100 experts in the phosphors industry are expected to attend the conference, now in its tenth year. Phosphor Global Summit 2012 will provide attendees with a forum to learn about the most pressing news, challenges and developments in the phosphors industry, as well as offer valuable opportunities for networking with colleagues during the multiple breaks and receptions.

“We have a very full slate of speakers on the agenda for this year’s Phosphor Global Summit, covering a wide variety of topics that are of the most critical importance to phosphors professionals,” said Barbara Rojas, Conference Director, IntertechPira. “In addition to 20 scheduled presentations we will also be holding three pre-conference seminars, the most we’ve ever offered for this particular event.”

Kathryn Conway, Principal, LED Consulting, and Prof. Thomas Jüstel from University of Applied Sciences Muenster, will be serving once again as the conference co-chairs for Phosphor Global Summit. Other speakers on the agenda include Dr. Seth Coe-Sullivan, Co-founder and CTO, QD Vision, Inc.; Dr. James Lynn Davis, Director, Engineering Research, Research Triangle Institute; Dr. Keith Kahen, Senior Principal Scientist, Eastman Kodak Company; Dr. Gregg Kottas, Research Scientist, Universal Display Corporation; Dr. Madis Raukas, Research Manager in Materials Science/Solid State Lighting (SSL), OSRAM SYLVANIA; and Dr. Holger Winkler, Head of R&D Solid State Lighting, MERCK KGaA.

IntertechPira is currently accepting submissions for the poster session for Phosphor Global Summit 2012. If you wish to be considered, please submit your abstract to Barbara Rojas at barbara.rojas@pira-international.com by Friday, October 14, 2011. The abstract should include: title and bulleted outline for the presentation, one-paragraph explaining the content of the proposed topic(s), and the name, job title, affiliation and one-paragraph biography of the proposed speaker or poster presenter. From the abstracts received by that date, one entrant will be selected to give an oral presentation as part of the main program. The rest of the entries will be reviewed and considered for the poster session.
