Robin Guess at Tampa's Know Book Launch Event

Robin Guess is Featured in the KNOW Tampa Annual Publication

Tampa, FL-- November 5, 2019 -- Today at the KNOW Tampa Book launch event held at The Orlo House in South Tampa, Robin Guess, Founder of Beau Gachis Cosmetics was one of 93 other women who were featured in the 2nd annual publication that recognizes Tampa's "Women you must KNOW and do business with". The women listed in the book are leaders, creators and entrepreneurs who are making a difference in the Tampa Bay area and have been nominated to be recognized as such.
"It is such an honor for me to appear in this book alongside so many amazing women of Tampa. I am truly humbled by it." said Robin Guess, Founder and CEO at Beau Gachis Cosmetics.

The KNOW Book Story
Launched in 2017, The KNOW Book + Tribe started as a way to bring more attention to dynamic women doing remarkable things in the Phoenix metro. They knew there were an outstanding number of women impacting the community and making big strides in their industries. Sarah Benken is the founder and visionary for the KNOW Book + Tribe. Her mission is to empower women who break glass ceilings in their respective fields. Know is currently recognizing women in 16 cities in the US and Canada and continues to grow.

Robin's Commitment to Tampa
Born and raised in Tampa, it's no secret that she loves her city. After moving away twice in her life for two different Fortune 100 companies, she would always return wondering why she ever left her hometown that she has watched grow over the past 50+ years. She created Beau Gachis Cosmetics in 2013 after becoming a "statistic" of Corporate America and found her family of four learning how to live on one income rather than the comfortable two incomes they were used to for so long. After realizing she could no longer afford even the simple things she used to complete her beauty regime (specifically makeup brushes), she decided it would become her mission to ensure that no other women would have to feel like they cannot afford the luxury they deserve. With that, she created the brand "Beau Gachis", which is French for "Beautiful Mess". The reason for this name was easy; it's what she and her husband have always called their two little girls who are also featured with her in the KNOW Book. Robin and her family can often be found at a variety of charity events and supporting nonprofit organizations throughout the Tampa Bay area such as Dress for Success Tampa Bay, The Grace Foundation, and 11th Warrior, just to name a few. She also enjoys setting up at the occasional popup shops and vendor events in her area where she can offer her quality products to the locals for amazing prices. "I love setting up at these events because it gives me an opportunity to meet people in my community and sort of pay it forward by offering my products with zero overhead pricing", said Robin at a recent pop up event in downtown Tampa hosted by Suburb Pop and Aloft Hotel.
