Avior Computnig Releases ICD-10 Knowledge Module

Avior Computing Corporation, a leader in automated risk and compliance management, announced today the immediate availability of an ICD-10 Knowledge Module for the firm’s BenchMark compliance management solutions.

The ICD-10 Knowledge Module provides all the content for the Avior BenchMark v6 platform, also released today, to streamline management of the complex interactions between health plans and healthcare providers and their trading partners.

Avior’s ICD-10 Knowledge Module is currently in production use by two of the top five health plans in the US. To ensure that their trading partners are able to comply with ICD-10 requirements, these health plans use Avior’s BenchMark v6 solution and the ICD-10 Knowledge Module to automate program management for the complex interactions with trading partners in the ICD-10 migration process. The scale of ICD-10 implementation projects requires automated approaches to key tasks such as assessing trading partner readiness.

Avior’s BenchMark solution automates the mapping of regulations, standards, controls, and assessment questions. The ICD-10 Knowledge Module enhances BenchMark by adding prebuilt assessment questionnaires and workflows, enabling organizations to get more done with less manual effort, and to meet looming ICD-10 compliance deadlines. The combination of BenchMark v6 and the ICD-10 Knowledge Module positions organizations to better assess vendor risk in the future, as required by provisions in HIPAA introduced in the HITECH act.
