Free social media marketing seminar in Ventura County

Los Angeles, September 7th, 2011 – After an ongoing series of events in Greater Los Angeles area, the leading provider of turn-key social media and video solutions My Local Buzz TV is presenting free seminars in Ventura County this month. It is the first time the My Local Buzz TV team will present the conferences in that area. Business owners who attend the social media marketing boot camp will get the answer to a question that many businesses are asking: “What is social media and how should I use it to improve my establishment?” The events will take place at the Courtyard Marriott Oxnard (September 13th), Courtyard Marriott Simi Valley (September 14th) and Courtyard Marriott Thousand Oaks (September 15th), with sessions at 10AM.

The main purpose of the seminars is to explain to owners of small businesses how social media works from a business and brand stand points and how it can be leveraged for success. In addition, the audience will understand how to integrate social media strategies such as QR codes, Facebook and Twitter, how SEO works, valuable video content practices and online coupons.

The results of a recent study in the Social Media Marketing Report 2011, showed that 90% of marketers said that social media was important to their businesses. The self-employed (67%) and small business owners with two or more employees (66%) strongly agreed as well. The more businesses understand these platforms the more successful their businesses will become. The registration for the seminars is still open and businesses can email seminar@mlbuzztv.com for a registration link.

My Local Buzz TV has specialized in helping businesses develop and execute online campaigns since 2010. A member of the company’s core team realized that that there is still much confusion for businesses about online strategies they should be using to generate revenue, brand exposure, and better customer relationship. In response, the agency started the series of social media trainings. According to Jared Doud, My Local Buzz TV’s Chief Marketing Officer, “The businesses that really grasp how important these platforms are to the success of their company are the ones we’ll see thriving 5 years from now. The scary thing is many businesses don’t realize they are already behind”. Business owners who attend the free seminars will also have access to brief case studies and new statistics regarding social media marketing.

My Local Buzz TV is a leading provider of turn-key social media and video solutions, headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, and specializes in locally targeted video based social media campaigns.
