New Rehabilitation Wing Now Open at Bentwood Nursing & Rehab in Florissant, Mo.
High-acuity rehab unit at Bentwood Nursing & Rehab, a North St. Louis County nursing home in Florissant, Mo., is now open.
Bentwood Nursing & Rehab's Administrator, David Andrew, has been heavily involved in the day-to-day development of the facility's new addition. "Our new rehabilitation wing provides the local community with a resource for quality, focused care, and is especially beneficial for those patients seeking an expert rehabilitation program designed to get them back home as quickly as possible," said Andrew.
The new wing also features oversized private and semi-private suites with spacious bathrooms, as well as 40" smart televisions, in-room WiFi, scenic views, local artwork, and restaurant style fine dining.
"Our residents are of the utmost importance, and they always will be," explained Jody O'Mara, MSN, RN, APRN & VP of Clinical Services at MGM Healthcare. "Throughout the planning and building phase of Bentwood's new wing, we never lost sight of the resident; we built this with them in mind, every step of the way," O'Mara said.
Directing the overall operations of Bentwood's new rehab unit is James Mason, COO at MGM Healthcare. "This development shows MGM's commitment to our community and medical partners. We're taking a progressive approach to assisting the medical needs of our community," Mason explained of Bentwood's operational strategy.
