Real Estate Guru to Donate Entire Product Line to Charity
Internet real estate guru Matthew David, who is best known for his various approaches to real estate foreclosure investing, has launched a new product line that is 80% being donated to charity. The product teaches new investors how to wholesale real estate and is available for the low price of $10. Proceeds are expected to be divided between several different charities. However, new buyers have been advised that they may donate to the charity of their choice and receive a free copy.Cofounder Frankie Fihn added, “These are tough times and we just wanted to help people who needed it the most. We wanted to do something that exceeded our own reach so we thought about coming up with a product. Since our products are mostly internet-based, there was a lot of time spent in development but there is no substantial cost in reselling a digital product. Because of that, we figured we could pretty much donate the whole thing to charity, less a few hosting costs and such. We haven’t decided which specific causes we’re most committed to yet but we want to step outside of the usual big charities and get into some causes related to spousal abuse, hunger, and shelter for the homeless. We really think this will make a big difference based on the sales volume we’re anticipating.”
The real estate wholesaling course is being hailed by some investors as “the most complete resource available” while others were less impressed by the purely digital format. However, one thing investors are in agreement about is that the course does provide legitimate practical methods for contractually locking up properties without credit or capital and then reselling those to qualified investors. These techniques are certainly not new to seasoned real estate investors although Fihn also states that “there are still many twists that many advanced investors haven’t yet thought of.”
