Rutland, VT -- Commercial firewood dealers can now split mammoth logs using Timberwolf’s TW-10 RC—the largest production log splitter on Earth.

The Timberwolf TW-10 RC can handle logs up to 6 feet in diameter and 10 feet long. With its 65-horse power John Deere diesel engine, this massive, 12,000 lb. beast can safely quarter giant logs into smaller pieces for further processed with more conventional equipment.

“The TW-10 is so large and so powerful the operator must run it using a remote control from a distance,” explained David Therrien, company president and CEO.

Made exclusively in the United States out of the finest materials, Timberwolf's log splitters are designed to help anyone get the most out of producing firewood. They are faster, easier and more reliable than any other log splitter on the market, according to information at http://www.TimberwolfCorp.com.

Most log splitters on the market are imports that are sold at chain stores. There is little or no training available on how to use them, and no local warranty service for breakdowns. The imports are lightweight models that are poorly constructed, with engines that lack sufficient power.

"It's becoming increasingly difficult for firewood dealers to find an American-made product that will last a lifetime," said Therrien. “Timberwolf products offer heavy-duty, quality construction and Honda engines for reliability.”

Timberwolf log splitters do the work of three men and make it possible for firewood dealers to cut costs, increase the volume of firewood they can produce, and increase their profits.

"If their equipment breaks down, they are out of business. Firewood producers can split big, gnarly logs all day long in winter and summer without even a whimper from the machine," said Therrien.

When Hurricane Katrina left thousands of trees down and blocking roads, the task of removal and clean-up was made easier with the TW-10 RC log splitter from Timberwolf. The powerful TW-10 RC can safely quarter giant logs so the smaller pieces can be further processed by more conventional equipment.
