Internal audit boutique joins Moore Stephens
CT Assurance provides internal audit and investigation services for social housing organisations. The transaction will boost Moore Stephens’ already significant governance, risk and assurance practice.
Roger Lustig, CT Assurance’s principal said that the time had come for his firm to take the next step in its development. “We examined a number of strategic options and concluded that joining a larger firm will help us deliver a wider range of services to our clients and the social housing sector as a whole. We have been very impressed with Moore Stephens since we first met them and very much look forward to the significant development opportunities the transaction will bring. Combining our skill sets and Moore Stephens’ brand and depth of resources will enable us to target an increased range of assignments in the social housing sector.”
Moore Stephens partner, Nick Hilton said that the firm was delighted that CT Assurance had chosen to join Moore Stephens. “Our governance, risk and assurance work is developing considerably. Demand for our services is increasing across the public sector, an area which, in the past year, again showed core double digit growth. Meeting the demands of both best practice and the regulators is now critical for many businesses and with the CT Assurance team’s skill sets and credentials, we will be even better placed to help them.”
