NEW MENTAL HEALTH BOOK COMBINES THE ANCIENT WITH THE MODERN

“Neo-shamanism and Mental Health” book launches January 15, 2020, on Amazon.com with a free bonus gift - one day only.

KNOXVILLE, TN – Dr. Karel James Bouse, an internationally-acclaimed expert in Neo-shamanism, announces her first book, published by Palgrave Macmillan, entitled “Neo-shamanism and Mental Health,” is now available on Amazon.com and everywhere books are sold.

The founder of the Institute of Esoteric Psychology (https://Institute-EP.com), Dr. Bouse has taught workshops in Neo-shamanic practice for nearly 25 years and in creativity and expressive arts, personal mythology, and dream work since 2012.
Chapters in the book cover the practice of Neo-shamanism, how it differs from traditional shamanism, the technology of the shamanic journey, the lifeworlds of some of its practitioners, as well as its benefits and pitfalls. The author’s analysis draws on an in-depth study of existing literature, original qualitative-phenomenological research into the lifeworlds of practitioners, and nearly three decades of observation and experience as a student, teacher, and practitioner of Neo-shamanism.
Available as a bonus on Wednesday January 15, anyone interested can access a free Guided Meditation video led by the author, which has been designed to take the participant through a relaxing process that promises:
• Self-discovery, personal evolution and growth,
• Experiencing some tools to help live life more fully and more authentically,
• Reconnection with nature,
• Discovering the scope and power of one’s own consciousness, and
• A glimpse into that connection and areas of consciousness that are not necessarily bounded by the material world and what can be experienced with the physical senses.
