New tutorial „Test and Simulation in the electronic

Berlin, April 2007 – Although developers of electronic systems are more and more attentive to testing, a lot of them still do not know which systematic methods are useful for testing and thus finding errors. The need for automating tests increases, but the know-how and experience to realize the concepts are missing.

IT Power Consultants leads the tutorial „Test and Simulation in the electronic development“ organized by the Car Training Institute (CTI). In this two-day course the participants will learn about the basics of testing embedded software. The topics requirements to the tests, test methods and automating tests will be addressed. The tutorial focuses are also on the possibilities, advantages and disadvantages of the model-based testing and simulation in the electronic development.

The practical experience of the course leaders from numerous customer projects in the field of ECU testsand model-based tests will enrich the tutorial. Thus, the participants will not only learn the theory but also the possibilities to put the theory into action. Practical exercises with test tools complete the course.

Two alternative dates are offered: July 3-4, 2007 and September 11-12, 2007. More information about the tutorial can be found on the website http://www.iir.de/testenundsimulieren.
