India Center of Excellence to support Visa’s cross border payment business

3rd Dec, 2019 – India – Techwave®, a global software solutions company announced the launch of a dedicated Fintech Center of Excellence (CoE) for Visa at the Techwave campus in Hyderabad, India. The CoE will work on technology solutions to support Visa’s cross border payment business.

As part of Techwave’s mission to build client-centric teams delivering innovative solutions with business focused outcomes, this dedicated Center of Excellence for Visa will focus on technology solutions aimed at expanding and scaling the Visa Direct real-time payments platform.

Visa Direct currently enables secure real-time payments worldwide simply using an eligible debit or prepaid card number. The CoE will focus on extending the reach of Visa Direct straight into a beneficiary’s bank account, effectively expanding Visa Direct’s capability to reach billions of bank accounts around the world. Visa Direct’s rapidly growing portfolio of use cases include funds disbursements, peer-to-peer payments, cross border payments, marketplace payouts, and bill payments.

The dedicated CoE will continue to focus on Financial Technology initiatives that are geared towards delivering next-generation services and significantly decrease the time-to-market for Visa’s products and solutions.
