CHURCH OPENS DAY CARE & DEVELOPMENT CENTER IN FLOWERY BRANCH
Kids of Covenant Child Care & Development
Build-out of the classrooms and kitchen facilities was completed in July and the day care began operation on August 9th. Pastor David Edmondson, senior pastor of Covenant Connections Church, said that approximately 7 children have been enrolled to date, with an enrollment capacity of 114.
The day care is licensed for daily care all day, or before and after school for ages 5 through 12, Monday through Friday, from 6 AM until 6PM.
Fees, according to day care director Jerry Leaphart, are moderately priced in view of increased economic pressures on families. “Our desires are to perform a service for working and busy families and to provide a safe nurturing and learning environment for children.”
An Open House event is scheduled for Saturday, August 27, at 6:00PM at Covenant Connections Church, 5818 Atlanta Highway, Flowery Branch. Parents are invited to come, meet the staff and tour the day care facilities. Also, parents may pose questions prior to the Open House or schedule an interview with Pastor David Edmondson or Jerry Leaphart by calling Jerry Leaphart at 678-769-5437. Covenant Connections Church started a child care and development center. Covenant Connections Church is a Christian church that has its staff teaching the classes. Hosting an open house August 27th at 6:00pm.
