App-based ECG CardioSecur Now Available in South America

Montevideo, December 2019. ANTEL and Bambuslife announced their strategic partnership, which brings the App-based 15-lead ECG CardioSecur to Uruguay and 20 more countries. Both companies were enthusiastic about making the clinically unrivalled ECG technology CardioSecur available in Latin America. CardioSecur is a cutting-edge App-based 15-lead ECG system which allows to record a uniquely detailed ECG within seconds. The entire system consists of a 50g light device with only four electrodes, the App and the user’s smartphone or tablet. CardioSecur is already used in remote settings where sophisticated App-based ECG technology is usually not available – such as commercial aviation where CardioSecur is used as on-board infarction detection by prime carriers like Lufthansa.
CardioSecur is known for its unique use of an initially recorded personal reference ECG, taking account of the user’s heart history. This individual “fingerprint of the heart” allows for a more accurate evaluation of any subsequent control ECG readings. Such serial ECG-recordings are explicitly required by both the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and the American Heart Association (AHA). CardioSecur is worldwide the only ECG system complying fully with these guidelines and offers with 15-lead ECG output more information than is conventionally available in clinics. In addition, after every new control reading, the ECG provides a simple recommendation on whether to see a doctor or not.
