Baltimore Artist Puts City on the Map “Big Bank Rolls” Debuts As Caddy Da Don’s

(Englewood Cliffs, NJ August 16, 2011) If real Hip Hop comes from the roughest, toughest streets in The States, then why isn’t Baltimore on the map yet? East Baltimore break-out artist Caddy Da Don wants to ensure the nation sees its first Baltimore-proud rapper. With the swagger of a young B.I.G. and the storytelling ability of the best, Caddy is waking up hip hop and rap with some much needed hometown spirit and a local fan base that’s quickly expanding beyond the city limits.

Best recognized by his single “Shake It,” – made famous as the audio on the D.T.L.R. website – a single which sold out at several D.T.L.R. locations, Caddy has been a serious contender in the underground music scene since 2005 as well as on the web where his fans connect with him on a regular basis. In fact the video “Grindin’ On Me” recently world premiered on World Star Hip Hop with over 7 million views and counting. Caddy’s name and tracks are breaking out of Baltimore collecting fans across the South East, Mid Atlantic and now breaking in the Midwest regions. Radio stations like WERQ in Caddy’s own Baltimore, KNDA in Corpus Christi, Texas and WJKS in Delaware are giving airplay to “Grindin’ On Me,” the track that caught the ear of Russell Simmons protégé, Tony Austin.

Baltimore-based executive and former President & Co Owner of Russell Simmons Music Group and Def Jam A&R Executive Tony Austin embarked upon a new musical venture creating The Monarch Entertainment Group, signing Caddy as the group’s debut artist.
