Executive Development Associates, Inc. (EDA), a leader in creating custom-designed executive development strategies, systems, and programs, today announced the addition of Robert (Bob) Mann as Head of its Leadership Development Practice.

New York, NY, August 08, 2011 - Executive Development Associates, Inc. (EDA), a leader in creating custom-designed executive development strategies, systems, and programs, today announced the addition of Robert (Bob) Mann as Head of its Leadership Development Practice.

"Dr. Mann’s extensive international experience in executive development, global leadership, talent, management, cultural transformation and global corporate strategy further positions EDA as a global leader in executive development. He will work in partnership with me on enhancing EDA’S client offerings in critical areas of strategic leadership development," says Bonnie Hagemann, CEO of Executive Development Associates. The number one challenge facing CEOs and their organizations is having the executive talent needed to position their organizations for the future, especially in complex and volitile market environments. Dr. Mann joining the firm further enhances our abilities to ensure global organizations have the executive talent necessary to achieve their strategic goals.

In order to provide the best leadership for the top-of-the-house leadership development, EDA sought a leader with both line leader and consulting experience. Dr. Mann has both. For most of his career, Bob held executive positions in global businesses in the US and abroad. Prior to joining EDA, Bob served as a senior executive of UBS, one of the world’s leading global financial services firms. During his 13-year tenure in London, Zurich and the U.S., he was a member of the UBS Group Managing Board and held the position of Managing Director, Global Learning & Development. In this capacity he led the UBS Leadership Institute reporting to the Group CEO, with responsibility for the senior-most leadership development across the firm.

Before joining UBS, Dr. Mann headed Executive Education and Development worldwide for Texaco. Prior to Texaco, he led client engagements as a Principal at EDA. He began his career at Xerox Corporation where he held the position of Head of Talent Management. As he returns to lead EDA’s Leadership Development Practice, he specializes in helping clients leverage leadership capability for strategic growth. The execution of strategically aligned leadership development solutions is his area of expertise based on over 30 years of experience in the field.

In addition to bringing his expertise to the field through his leadership and consulting with EDA, Dr. Mann also serves as a faculty member at the John F. Welch College of Business, Sacred Heart University and as Executive Director of the Global Leadership Strategy Network.
