High school student created a platform that hosts multinational online math competitions.

TransferWise recently named Timo Timmi one of the TOP 5 most talented young entrepreneurs in Europe.
He has graduated high school in June 2018. For the past 2 years he has been working together with his mentor, Tõnis Kusmin, on the development of the digital platform for math competitions.
“I have been a basketball player for the most part of my life, and I never struggled with math either. Most of the people find sports significantly more fun than worksheets. So, we have decided to take what’s best in sports and bring it to math practice”, - says Timo Timmi.
In spring 2019, the Math Game Day hosted 14000 students internationally competing in one day. This winter Timo is joining forces with partners in Europe and the U.S. to host a record breaking international online tournament. The online competition will take place on December 5th, at 8:30 am and 2 pm EEST in Europe, and December 11th, 2019, at 10 am EST and 10 am PST in the U.S.
Playing in the Math Game Day is an exciting experience, resulting in math enthusiasm and learning motivation. Even parents feel the thrill when watching online! All players receive digital certificates and see their names in the live international leaderboard.
