Bilingual Psychiatrist Joins Doorways Arizona

July 28, 2011 - PHOENIX, AZ- Dr. Roberto Igor Bracamonte has joined Doorways LLC., as licensed psychiatrist.

Dr. Bracamonte, who is originally from El Salvador, earned his medical degree from the University of El Salvador. He has practiced as an Adult General Psychiatrist at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York; as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn; and in the last three years has worked at Remuda Ranch as a Staff Psychiatrist and Arizona Children’s Association as a Child Psychiatrist.

Dr. Bracamonte specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry, and especially eating disorders.

Dr. Bracamonte says “I have always been fascinated by human development in the lifetime, particularly with children. I also think that early therapeutic intervention can have the greatest impact in treating and prevention mental problems.”

When he’s not working, Dr. Bracamonte enjoys live entertainment such as music concerts, theater, and Broadway shows, traveling to other countries, and learning new computer skills. Above all, he enjoys spending time with his two year old daughter.
