Website consensus screams: Bullies be silent. Humans need the St Kitts monkeys to be tested. We need cures, remedies or aides to Alzheimer’s disease, HIV, schizophrenia etc.

Headline news has warned that there is an over population on St Kitts of Vervet Monkeys, so why not use some of them to improve our human health conditions? As of June 16, 2011, Monarch Airways announced that it is no longer in their best interest to transport the monkeys from St Kitts to the lab. Primate Products continues its experiments in Miami.

Monarch Airways is backing away from PETA and other organizations that contend that the lab monkeys endure a lifetime of suffering and pain.

These lab St Kitts monkeys obviously do not live free, in the wild, but the feral population now outnumbers humans on St Kitts. The ratio is becoming alarmingly unhealthy and something more than taking a few for experimentation must be done.

Web consensus shouts that it’s sad when animal organizations are needed to prevent cruelty or extermination. They do serve a purpose; however, they surely walk a thin line between what is good for humanity vs. animals.

In the monkey ongoing issue, humans are not being represented well. We have allowed bullies, the animal organizations, to stunt our research. They need to back down.

Feel n Fly offers great travel discounts on cruise, air, European – all destination vacations! The 8-day Caribbean Cruise, including St. Kitts, is wonderful and enchanting.
