Tom Riquier, CFP®, CLU, Completes More IRA Training

(Danvers, MA – July 6, 2011) – Thomas T. Riquier, CFP®, CLU and President of The Retirement Financial Center in Danvers, recently returned from Florida, where he completed another level of Ed Slott’s Master Elite IRA Advisor Group™ specialized training that featured a variety of industry experts. These special guest speakers presented valuable, in-depth information about IRA planning and protection. Some of the topics covered in this information-packed, 3-day conference included: IRA Rollover/Lump Sum Distributions; Lump-Sum Distribution Tax Breaks, 2010 Tax Act; 2011-2012 IRA Tax Planning; and Tax Breaks for Retirement Plan Beneficiaries.

Leading author, attorney and legal expert, Seymour Goldberg, CPA, MBA, JD., discussed Legal Issues Involving IRAs. He provided numerous case studies for examination by participants. Dr. Goldberg also outlined Prohibited IRA Transactions and discussed preventive measures.
