Xeus 2012 addresses basic Cell Planning, Statistics Plotting and Network Change issues crucial for the Quality of Service (QoS) maintenance of a mobile network.
“Over the past few years, RF engineers from around the globe have been downloading and using our free Xeus LiTe. Based on feedback that we have received from these users, we decided to upgrade the software to offer a fully functional optimization support tool that will further enhance their daily optimization needs. As this new enhancement can no longer be considered ‘lightweight’, we made a strategic move to drop the name ‘LiTe’ and simply call it Xeus” enthused, Kean Chan Technology Director at Aexio.
The free solution, Xeus, is in essence a stripped down version of its complete Geographic Information System (GIS) optimization software, Xeus Pro 2012. However the new Xeus boasts additional features which were previously not available in its predecessor Xeus LiTe such as more network vendor data import support, Network channel and code analysis capability, Cell Configuration Editor & add-remove Neighbor & Site functionality, Network KPI Statistics import for plotting in Mapinfo™ and Google™ Earth as well as Statistics trend charts and worst performance charts.
