Motivational Speaker Joe Roberts Inspires Port Moody Rotary
Port Moody, BC – Inspirational speaker and keynote speaker Joe Roberts motivated and encouraged the administrators and members of the Port Moody Rotary Club last week with his motivating “Dealing with The Tough Stuff” presentation.The event took place at the St. James's Well Pub, at 248 Newport Drive, Port Moody, BC on July 13th, 2011. Roberts’ presentation “Dealing with The Tough Stuff” offered in depth information as to how organizations can deal with hard situations.
“Breakdown in human skills count for 90% of the challenges that face businesses today.” said Joe Roberts in his presentation.
His message proved to the audience that with strong communication and social skills, anyone can take on challenges and overcome obstacles in order to work together to better the organization.
During his keynote speech Roberts offered practical solutions as to how to de-persoalize tough feedback, how to uncover some root causes of difficult behaviour, how to craft behaviour modification strategies, how to avoid the language that causes conflict, as well as show the best ways to be assertive in any situation.
