ZOMM Announces myZOMM Mobile Android App

Tulsa, Okla, London, UK,– ZOMM, LLC, a global technology company and creator of the world’s first Wireless LeashTM for mobile phones, announces the availability of its mobile application in the Android Market. Available for all Android-powered smartphones, the myZOMMTM mobile app allows a more seamless user experience with the ability to set up and manage all of the ZOMM® Wireless Leash features from the user’s mobile phone. It also unlocks a special alert feature to find the Wireless Leash and whatever it’s connected to, if ever misplaced. When the Wireless Leash is worn on the keychain, keys can be located by a simple press of a button on the mobile phone.

The myZOMM mobile app provides users a mobile platform to set up and adjust their device preferences, such as naming the Wireless Leash, muting the device, customising the distance in which the out of range alert sounds and customising their own emergency contact number. The user may also send a command from their mobile phone that causes the Wireless Leash to make a sound – great if the user has misplaced the device, especially if the device is connected to their key chain and they have misplaced their keys. The app also provides the ability to customise the alarm to the user’s lifestyle.

Using Bluetooth® technology, the keychain-sized ZOMM prevents users from losing or misplacing their mobile phone by vibrating, flashing lights and sounding an alarm when they separate from their phone. With added features of call notification, a fully functional speakerphone with a noise-canceling microphone for safe hands-free communication while driving and a personal safety device for emergencies, the ZOMM is the ultimate multi-functional accessory for any mobile phone with Bluetooth, which is about all mobile phones these days.

Created for ZOMM users, the myZOMM mobile app is now available free on Android Market. The app is compatible with all Android-powered smartphones with an iOS version coming soon.
