Solix Enterprise Data Management Suite Achieves Oracle Validated Integration with Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.0

Santa Clara, CA (July 25, 2011) – Solix Technologies, a Gold level member of Oracle® PartnerNetwork (OPN), today announced it has achieved Oracle Validated Integration of Solix Enterprise Data Management Suite (EDMS) 4.5.1 with Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.0.

Solix EDMS employs out-of-box “Application-Awareness” capability to archive transactional business objects for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications. Solix EDMS makes it possible to build criteria based on business rules, corporate policies and retention periods into configurations, and then archives the eligible transactional business objects based on rules. Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) with Solix EDMS Database Archiving enables customers to manage data growth, archive inactive data, and maintain access to data. These key features of Solix EDMS 4.5.1 can help increase application performance, reduce storage costs and lifecycle management for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications data based on corporate policies.

To achieve Oracle Validated Integration, Oracle partners are required to meet a stringent set of requirements that are based on the needs and priorities of the customers.

Oracle Validated Integration testing included the following Solix EDMS features:
* Data referential integrity,
* Elimination of the need to synchronize procedures every time a patch is applied,
* Complete and secure archiving of data.

With Solix EDMS 4.5.1, customers can enable automatic design and setup of custom archive and standard archive configurations and run the configurations. Customers can also preview the transactions that are going to be archived using a multi-step model with built-in preview capabilities or automated model with event notifications.
