ACTLean and Schuh & Company Announce Lean Bronze Certification Workshop in Atlanta, GA and Miami, FL

With an established Lean Certification Standard, companies can make Lean activities an integral part of the organization. Professionals attain industry recognized abilities that make them stand out in the crowd.

Lawrenceville, GA, July 22, 2011 – ACTLean will offer a 1.5 day Lean Bronze Certification Workshop and a half day Lean Bronze Certification Exam in Atlanta, GA and Miami, FL. ACTLean also offers customized Lean Bronze Certifications workshops at your location for groups of 4 or more at any time during the year.

With the Lean Bronze Certification, Lean practitioners demonstrate a solid understanding of basic lean principles and tools, as well as their ability in tactical implementation projects that drive improvements and show measurable results.

To achieve Lean Bronze Certification, participants will learn Lean Methodologies from a tactical viewpoint within the key modules as identified in the Lean Body of Knowledge provided by SME / AME / ASQ / Shingo Prize.

In the ACTLean Bronze Certificate preparation workshop, attendees will systematically review all relevant information and methodologies as outlined in the Lean Body of Knowledge. This workshop is therefore not meant to be the initial training, but an opportunity to understand the exam, organize reference materials and refresh the participant’s memory.

The workshop will be provided by experienced trainers of ACTLean, approved by SME as Lean Bronze Certification Review facilitators.

The open-book 170 question Lean Bronze exam takes three hours and can be taken directly after the review workshop. All exam questions are taken from the material reviewed in the workshop.

Individuals from companies who want to introduce Lean Manufacturing in order to eliminate waste from their processes. For a successful implementation, employees from all levels need to understand the Lean Concept.
