School of Rock
School of Rock is the nation's leading performance - based rock music program for students from ages 7-18. School of Rock will open in Saddle Brook, New Jersey in September 2011.
What:
Students will learn the fundamentals of playing an instrument while playing actual rock music on professional equipment taught by real musicians with a curriculum combining private lessons and group rehearsals. School of Rock offers several instructional options depending on a student’s skill level. The premier program is the Showcase Performance Program where students are provided a weekly 45 minute private lesson as well as a weekly 3 hour show rehearsal. The culmination of the Showcase Performance Program is a real concert at one of the areas great music venues.
