Press release from: LCM Systems Ltd

/ PR Agency: In Press
Thanks to ever-increasing sales and the desire to keep a larger stock of popular standard products, so improving delivery times for customers, specialist load cell technology company, LCM Systems, is expanding its current production facilities on the Isle of Wight, UK. With plans to increase capacity by up to 30%, building work is now complete on Phase One of the project. LCM Systems designs, manufactures and supplies a comprehensive range of standard and customised load cells, load pins, pressure transducers and associated instrumentation predominantly for lifting and weighing applications throughout industry.

“Sales have been increasing year on year, both from the UK and globally” explains Steve Sargeant, Managing Director at LCM Systems. “We had been looking for larger premises on the Island, but in the end decided to expand our existing production facilities. It is a very exciting phase of the company’s development that will benefit all our customers.”

The increased floor space will result in a much larger storage area and customers will benefit from faster distribution of the most popular ranges of load cells. In many cases, next day delivery will be an option. The larger production area will facilitate more streamlined manufacturing for the load cells, as well as the more sophisticated weighing and lifting systems provided by the company.

Future plans include an expansion of the engineering department with the recruitment of new engineers and administration personnel to keep up with the ever-increasing demand.
