Head of IT at AngloGold Ashanti to speak at the Cloud Computing World Forum Latin America
Formed in 2004, AngloGold Ashanti is a global gold producer with 21 operations on four continents. The organisation employed over 62,000 people in 2010 and generated $5.3bn in gold income. Pedro Augusto is responsible for both the development of the IT strategy as well as the management of the IT, Systems and Telecommunication teams within the company’s Brazilian headquarters. An experienced IT professional, he was nominated by PriceWaterhouseCooper in 2008 as one of the main IT leaders in Brazil.
Pedro Augusto’s session forms one part of the Computing World Forum Latin America, which will feature all of the key players within the Cloud Computing and SaaS market and provide an introduction, discussion and focus on the future of the ICT industry in Latin America.
